Cheesman Park Neighborhood Climate Action Forum Results
Summary – September 16, 2017
The Community Room at Embassy House high-rise was full, with many from the building and a good representation for several other high-rise buildings in Cheesman Park. The first question – your name and what you are already doing on behalf of the climate – generated a rich conversation, with everything from freezing compost to take to a friend to buying into solar farms to support renewable energy. Embassy House had just launched an in-building team. Other high-rises already had significant work underway. Together they felt that reaching out to ALL the Cheesman Park high-rise residences was a great place to start along with getting up the website www.greenchees.com. If you live in a high-rise building, those attendees are a great resource to seeking information and options.
